Students at Croydon Sixth Form College (6F) have this year achieved an excellent set of results with a 97% A Level pass rate. The provisional figures were announced yesterday as students found out their results.

Another £33 million investment in new facilities at Croydon College

Work will start on the refurbishment and extension of facilities at Croydon College on Monday 11th August. The £33 million pound capital investment project is part of an ongoing programme at the College designed to ensure the College is at the forefront of training and education in South London.

Croydon College Leading the Way in Further Education

The sun shone on over 300 of Croydon Higher Education College’s (forms part of Croydon College) students as they graduated in front of approximately 1,000 guests at the Fairfield Halls last Friday.  They graduated from over 40 Higher Education (HE) qualifications in the presence of the Guest of Honour, Dr Robert Aylett (Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) at London Metropolitan University) and the Mayor of Croydon, Councillor Derek Millard.

Internationally renowned artist returns to Croydon College

In 1964 Jamie Reid enrolled at the Croydon Art School. In 1977 The Sex Pistols released their seminal debut album featuring artwork by Jamie Reid.

Next month sees Jamie Reid make a triumphant return to the College, now called Croydon Higher Education College and forming part of Croydon College. Having commissioned the College to rework several of his now iconic images in new colourways, Jamie will return on November 5th to open an exhibition into his work in the College’s recently refurbished Parfitt Gallery.

Students who have just finished their BTEC National (A level equivalent) qualifications at Croydon Sixth Form College (forms part of Croydon College) achieved an excellent set of results with a pass rate of 95%.  This is 6% above what other colleges on average achieve, and cements the College’s position as the best college of its type in South London.

Top Marks for GCSE Italian Student (18/09/2007)

Croydon Sixth Form College’s GCSE Italian students had a great end to summer this year, with all candidates achieving either A or A* grades and therefore ensuring 100% success rate in this subject.

There was even better news for one of these students as her GCSE results for Italian were accompanied by a letter from the examination board, Assessment and Qualifications Alliance (AQA), which stated that out of all 3,342 candidates entered for the exam, Penelope Perry scored one of the top five marks for GCSE Italian – gaining an A* and maximum marks...
